SOLIS WINS AT THE UDIA NSW AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE
Astina Group is proud to announce that our flagship project, Solis, has been awarded Winner in the ‘Apartments (Mid-Rise) <200’ category at the 2025 UDIA NSW Awards for Excellence. Our most aspirational project yet, Solis was developed with bold intention to redefine modern living in Western Sydney through design, quality and amenity. Solis – Latin for “Of The Sun”, is a 6 story multi-residential project situated in the heart of Penrith completed in March 2025. Solis consists of 112 apartments across three buildings made up of: 2x 4-bedroom penthouse; 8x 3 bedroom; 90x 2 bedroom; 11x 1 bedroom; 1x studio; 10,793sqm GFA.
The project includes a double basement and two street frontages alongside three rooftop amenity spaces and a central garden area including a custom timber children’s playground, water fountain and BBQ facility. Buildings A and B feature a mirrored design of two rooftop pools and outdoor dining areas, overlooking the Blue Mountains. The 3rd rooftop amenity on Tower C includes an event space, traditional sauna, exercise and dining area. The project’s exterior focuses heavily on landscape design with all rooftops draped in greenery, surrounded by substantial manicured ground floor gardens. The building is highlighted by two dragon trees, penetrating through the corner of each penthouse, being revealed on the respective rooftops. To connect the buildings, there are two overhead ironbark timber walkways inspired by the Japanese architecture.
Each apartment has been generously designed featuring Parisi tapware, Fisher & Paykel appliances and luxury custom finishes including stone splashbacks, complete stone island benches and custom stone vanity units. In addition, Tower C features a series of two-story terrace apartments uniquely designed with their own street frontage and spatial living areas.
These features lead to our success in sales as we achieved an incredible sales rate, setting records along the way throughout a challenging economic period. This allowed us to commence on site within 6 months of launching.

The judging panel commends Solis by Astina for its exceptional contribution to design excellence and lifestyle-led development. A defining feature is its distinctive custom linear brickwork, which brings warmth and texture to the curved façade while grounding the building in its local context.
